The Rundown: Geralt is given a dangerous mission that will ensure he keeps his estate.
Geralt arrives at the estate of the woman who gifted him his new home. Unfortunately, the heir of the original owner arrives to claim the land back. After discovering that Geralt is a Witcher, he offers to allow him to keep the land if he goes on a mission with his mercenaries. A mission that will call for the hand of a Witcher to complete.
After consulting with Yen, Geralt takes the job and finds himself in the presence of two of the untrustworthy mercenaries as they go after a coach carrying some high value prisoners. Prisoners who will get the attention of another band of cutthroat mercenaries.
The Story: Sztybor ramps up the action and thrills in a fast paced adventure that showcases everything that is fun and interesting about the Witcher and his world. There is wonderful intrigue throughout the story as Geralt is forced into difficult circumstances and surrounded by people he cannot trust. There is wonderful tension throughout the story and there is a hint of more danger ahead for both Geralt and Yennifer.
The Art: Corrado Mastantuono delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. The visuals capture the intense action brilliantly while delivering great character moments.
