The Rundown: Ian Black returns to the world and finds an unexpected welcome when he returns.

In the wake of the foiled attack on Venus, the president must decide what to do with former terrorist turned hero Ian Black. A decision she knows will have unintended consequences on a tense world. At the same time, a practically catatonic Ian sits in prison until he is returned to society with a media story that touts him as a hero.
As Ian finds himself struggling to return to society, he receives an unexpected visit from Cross who reveals that she survived the attack. A visit that could give both of them a new lease on life as they finally get to know each other.
The Story: Leheup delivers a wonderfully dark and interesting story in this issue. After the big action and thrills of this arc, I was expecting some dark dynamics to be at play, but the story takes some interesting twists and turns for both characters. There is a wonderful psychological element to the story and how Ian/Nathan finds himself adjusting to his return to the world in the wake of the propaganda surrounding his actions. Cross’ story is interesting as well and I really enjoyed where this story ends and what it could mean for the pair.
The Art: Fox delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. From the amazingly detailed worlds created in the issue to the expressive and emotional characters, I loved every page and panel of this issue.
