The Rundown: Nathan and company find their best lead is a dead end, but there might be someone else who can help them retrieve the research they need.
Dr. Nyseth is dead and her death might be the last hope Amy has of retrieving the memories of Ian Black before another terrorist attack takes place. When the team discovers a supply drop nearby, they find another scientist working on a way to end the infection once and for all.
After taking the scientist with them, Nathan tells the man the truth about who he is as he studies their new friend. At the same time, Amy has to come to terms with what she’s lost and how far she’s willing to go to succeed.
The Story: I continue to be engaged and impressed with the world that Jody Leheup is creating with these characters and the complex political and social situations that they are being put in. Nathan continues to be a loveable loser, but one thing that makes this story so interesting is the fact that he will have to face who he really is for good or ill. Every moment that reality gets closer adds more drama to the story. Amy’s story is also interesting and deserves to be explored.
The Art: Nathan Fox offers some beautiful art in this issue. All of the panels are composed exceptionally.
