The Rundown: In the wake of loss, the team scatters to prioritize what matters.
After being defeated by Banner and his forces and losing one of their own, the rest of the Ultimates scatter with Cap and Torch looking for familiar stomping grounds in the city to talk about the past and how Steve is going to lead the team going forward. Elsewhere in the city, Hank and Janet find themselves at a memorial for victims listening to their group get labeled terrorists as Hank struggles with regret.
Thor and Sif return to the world tree to determine if helping Midgard is something that they should be doing as America Chaves and Hawkeye continue to fight in small ways to inspire people to stand up. She-Hulk is having a harder time and Doom will have to find a way to help her growing rage and loneliness.
The Story: I continue to enjoy how this world is giving the characters and the reader the time to get to know these characters and their motivations. This was a slow burn of an issue that served as a great way to see these characters as people as they navigate a world where they try to do good while being labeled terrorists. I like seeing them separate and will be intrigued to see who actually comes back, if they do.
The Art: Frigeri delivers amazing art throughout the issue. I love the look of the characters and how the environments capture the tone of every moment.
