The Rundown: The reunited friends and their cargo confront the person they feel responsible for Johnny’s death.

As Johnny’s friends retreat to a safe house with the baby, Caliburn suits go on a rampage on the other side of the world leaving devastation in their wake during a supposed hostage rescue mission. Kasia decides that the only way to get answers is to confront the person who has them, Johnny’s grieving wife Hillary. A confrontation that reveals some dark secrets about the man and the woman behind corrupting Johnny’s technology.

After learning the dark truth about Johnny’s connection to the baby and the motivations behind it, the friends are attacked and must protect themselves and the baby until the Caliburn suit returns and they discover that there is more to their friend Johnny than they realized.

The Story: Warren continues to craft a brilliantly complex and engaging story in this issue. Not only is the mystery in this story consistently compelling, but the action is thrilling and the twists and turns of the plot keep me invested in this world and these characters. The story is satisfying and entertaining as it leads to a fantastic twist ending that makes me excited to see what happens next.

The Art: Mobili delivers beautifully detailed and visually engaging art throughout the issue. From the emotion of the characters to the action, every page and panel looks amazing.
