The Rundown: Kasia continues her investigation including questioning one of her oldest friends.

Kasia thinks back to when Johnny came to see her. A moment where she recalls how he was feeling when he decided to become a costumed hero. A moment where she teases that there was something more between them.

After finding her old friend and Johnny’s former sidekick Greg loitering outside of a crime scene, Kiki invites him out to talk and grills him about his relationship to Johnny and his missing exosuit. A conversation that will lead to a dangerous and potentially deadly encounter with the person who stole it.

The Story: Warren and Remender create a fantastic follow up that is a fantastic mixture of detective noir, superhero fantasy and coming of age story. The characters are beautifully compelling and it’s such a rich and engaging story that I connect with both in terms of character and plot. I love the premise of this story and this issue is filled with great action, thrills and mystery. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

The Art: Mobili delivers great art throughout the issue. I love the character designs a lot, but the action in the story is fantastic and perfectly captures the tone and style of the story.
