The Rundown: An older couple find their quiet life interrupted by a machine that’s been hunting them for decades.

A couple living on a secluded lake in Alaska have successfully escaped the war with the machines and the disaster of the war that killed over three billion people. As they continue to settle into their quiet life, it is interrupted by the emergence of a Terminator from beneath the waves of the nearby water. A Terminator who has been relentlessly hunting the couple for decades.

As it hunts the couple, they try to fight back, but there is something more important that they need to do first. Evidence that they need to destroy so that the machines do not get it.

The Story: Shalvey crafts an entertaining addition to the world of the Terminator. I like the tone of the story a lot and how it connects to the history of the Terminator. I like expanding the characters as well and the mystery in the story teases that there some bigger stories being teased within this world that have gotten my attention.

The Art: Sparrow and Craker deliver some great art in the issue. The Terminator is brilliantly designed and every scene it is in shows how menacing it is.
