The Rundown: Swamp Thing goes to war, but decides a different tactic will be necessary to win.
Imbued with the power of the Green Lantern, Swamp Thing returns to Earth to face off against a mechanized nightmare. At the same time, Trinity watches events unfold and decides to make a decision about what she will do. A decision that will change everything about Levi’s fight.
In order to execute his plan, Swamp Thing will have to reconcile with Levi’s brother and combine their powers in order to infiltrate the machine and get to its heart. In the heart of the machine, Levi will confront the first creature he encountered and show it how things will change with the emergence of Trinity.
The Story: Ram V crafts an incredibly interesting and entertaining story in this issue. The wonderful mixture of the philosophical and the metaphysical continues to engage me as a reader. There is rich, deep storytelling in this issue and I continue to be impressed with the depth of the story and its characters. I cannot wait to see where this story goes next and I am eagerly anticipating the conclusion.
The Art: Perkins delivers some breathtaking art on every page of this issue. From the action to the characters, Perkins draws in the reader with visual spectacle and emotion.
