The Rundown: Peter and Miles call in some favors to help out a new friend.

After a member of their support group manifests strange powers, Miles and Peter swing in to investigate who or what she is becoming. At the same time, Electro runs into his female counterpart and there is some palpable tension between the pair that is escalating.

Back at the coffee shop, Peter calls in Hydro-Man to hopefully teach Juliet how to use her water form after bringing in friends like Kamala Khan and others to verify if Juliet could be either an Inhuman or a mutant. As Juliet continues to learn more about her powers, Peter’s old friend Jonny Storm arrives to give them an idea that could prove interesting.

The Story: Weisman continues to create a great ongoing story in this issue. I continue to be impressed with the characters and how they interact. I like the small expansion of their collective circle as well as how this issue is character focused and deals with the aftermath of the last arc. I like this style of storytelling and look forward to seeing what happens next with these characters and their conflicts both big and small.

The Art: Genolet and Laiso deliver some great art in the issue. There are some great character moments and a visual environment that makes you feel like you’re there in those moments.
