The Rundown: Peter and Miles take on an army of mob bosses as the tech behind the scenes decides to evolve.
After Hammerhead decides to enter the fantasy world he’s helping to fund, Peter and Miles find themselves facing off against robot copies of the city’s most dangerous mob bosses. A fight that will require the two of them to use some new tactics if they hope to survive.
At the same time, the technology that is running the nightmare scenarios sees the impending failure of Arcade’s vision and decides that it must do something to survive. Something that will create a new and possibly deadlier enemy for the Spider-Men to face.
The Story: Weisman continues to craft a fun, action filled thrill ride for these characters in this issue. The story is filled with great action, quips and everything you could want from a team up with these characters. There’s also just enough cheese in the dialogue to make you smile as well as cringe. A thoroughly fun and entertaining adventure I cannot wait to continue reading.
The Art: Ramos creates amazing art throughout the issue. The visuals are as fun and thrilling as the story and there is wonderful tone to the imagery that is immersive.
