The Rundown: Miles and Peter face off as their enemy’s benefactor makes an appearance.
Miles Morales and Peter Parker square off thinking each is one of the robots they’ve been facing off with in the fantasy world created by Arcade. As the two fight, they find themselves crashing into the fantasy of a familiar face who has some information the pair need regarding who they are really facing.
At the same time, the investigation into the missing campus students continues with the detective finding some interesting information while the villains at the heart of the plot get a visit from their benefactor who wants to take care of the Spider-Men personally.
The Story: Weisman crafts a fun and thrilling story in this issue. It has some great action throughout and I like seeing how Miles and Peter play off each other as characters. I continue to enjoy the arc and the mystery within it. Weisman continues to craft a great world for these characters and a fun and inviting tone for the reader.
The Art: Ramos delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. It has a fantastic visual tone that perfectly captures the tone of the story.
