The Rundown: Miles and Peter are trapped in fantasy worlds that allow them to live out their dreams.
Arcade and Mentallo pay a visit to a mysterious benefactor to get funding for their project. Someone who will allow them to create the machine Peter and Miles are currently trapped within.
Within the machine itself, Peter and Miles continue to live happy lives among loved ones and a balance that each of them knows is not right. When a familiar face appears to break the illusion, Peter and Miles will find themselves facing dangerous versions of themselves as Arcade and Mentallo plan their next move.
The Story: Weisman continues to create an entertaining and thrilling story in this issue. The plot continues to be interesting and there are some great character moments for Peter and Miles. I really enjoyed the backstory with Arcade and Mentallo and the mystery of their benefactor. The story takes some dramatic turns throughout the issue and everything culminates in some great action beats and a confrontation I want to see play out.
The Art: Ramos delivers some beautifully detailed and immersive art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of the issue and the expressive characters.
