The Rundown: Miles and Peter find themselves living the lives of their dreams as some dangerous villains look on.
Peter finds himself living a beautiful life in the wake of retiring from being Spdier-Man. A life filed with love, kids and great moments with his wife. At the same time, Miles takes the next step in his relationship with Kamala and they find a wonderful balance of being heroes and a couple.
In the real world, two dark figures watch the events unfold as Peter and Miles’ investigation into missing students and others neat campus bring them back to the sewers and the discovery of an underground base with some interesting and life changing technology.
The Story: Weisman crafts a fun and entertaining story in this issue. The narrative style of the issue works perfectly for the arc and I really enjoyed seeing the fantasy lives of these characters as well as how the story doesn’t only show what’s happening to Peter and Miles. The story has some great action and a wonderful build up to its final reveal that makes me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Ramos delivers visually thrilling art throughout the issue. The imagery is fun and beautifully detailed throughout.
