The Rundown: Peter and Miles team up to stop a rampaging menace.

In an effort to spend more time with Miles as friends instead of heroes sharing the same name, Peter and Miles decide to take a day to just hang out sans costume. Unfortunately, the Spider-Men will discover that the responsibility of the mantle takes precedence when a hulked-out version of the Jackal starts tearing up the campus.

Peter and Miles trade quips and punches with the creature as they look for a solution to stop it from destroying everything unaware that there are other forces forming in the shadows that could be connected.

The Story: Weisman delivers a story that is pitch perfect for fans of both characters. This is the kind of story I want from a team up between Peter and Miles. The story teases something deeper while giving the characters the time and space to showcase how fun the dynamic between them can be for the reader. There is a great lighter tone to the story that makes me want to continue reading this series to see where it goes.

The Art: Ramos’ art is beautifully immersive and captures both the character moments and the visually thrilling action perfectly.
