The final fate of Leviathan revealed as Honor moves to end the threat of Talia once and for all.
Silencer and her reluctant companions have made it to Talia’s remote base and they are determined to make sure she stays dead. As they move into position to enter the fortress and intercept her before she reaches a Lazarus Pit, Honor’s family continues to search for her in the wreckage of the demolished theme park.
As the trio fight their way into the castle, they are confronted by another Leviathan enforcer. Someone with a similar gift to Honor’s. When he opens a chamber behind them, Honor sees that every remaining member and head of Leviathan has been summoned and Talia emerges with an offer to those that remain.
This storyline continues to get more intense with each issue. Dan Abnett has managed to keep all the moving parts of this story well plotted and well executed. This issue seems to signify the turning point in the series with Talia making her bold move and Honor caught in the middle of a turf war she didn’t want to return to. The complications in her life have increased and it will be interesting to see how Abnett continues to thread the needle with the character keeping things from her family.
Herbert brings some great visual moments with the art in this issue. There are some well detailed character shots in this book as well as a stunning sequence with Talia towards the end of the book. Great art throughout.
