The Rundown: The Corinthian is tempted while Thessaly calls on some possible help.
Thessaly, Max and the cat who used to be Madison Flynn have managed to escape and Thessaly decides to use her power to summon a familiar face who has answers about who could be behind the entire operation. Someone who has an endless amount of time to plan.
At the same time, Corinthian continues to be tempted by Azazel and when the former king of hell leaves, he seeks out Kells. Unfortunately, their escape from the club brings them face to face with Teague and his powerful benefactor. A move that might force Corinthian to do something he was forbidden to do.
The Story: James Tynion IV continues to craft a brilliant complex and engaging story in this issue. Every reveal has me excited as a Sandman fan and I loved the cameos and how they connect to the larger story. The mystery within this series continues to be exciting and compelling and I love every twist and turn of the plot. Things are getting more deliciously complicated in this issue and I cannot wait to see what happens next.
The Art: Estherren literally transports me to another world with the art in this issue. Everything is so beautifully detailed and visually compelling that I felt a part of every moment with these characters.
