The Rundown: Charles and Edwin find the Summoner along with another familiar face.
As the boys and their new ghost friends reel from the loss of one of their own and the end of their investigation, Charles decides to pay a visit to an old friend. Unfortunately, seeing her happy with someone else makes it impossible to reveal himself and he heads back to the others.
Fortunately for them all, Edwin and Tanya have a possible solution that Melvin was able to find. Unfortunately for them, their trip to Thai Town will bring them face to face with a powerful evil and Charles and Edwin’s escape will bring them face to face with someone that could help them.
The Story: A fun, thrilling adventure that brings all the story elements and characters together in a way that engages the reader. The story takes some great twists and turns throughout and there is a great energy to the characters and their circumstances that keep me entertained and invested in their plight. The story is taking a huge step forward in this issue and I look forward to seeing where it goes next.
The Art: Stokely delivers some great art in the issue. The visuals are fun in moments while delivering genuine scares in others. The balance is brilliantly done and beautifully complements the story.
