The Rundown: After Charles is attacked, the rest of the ghosts face an dangerous threat both outside and within their ranks.
The circumstances behind Thessaly’s abduction are revealed as the creatures that attacked Charles and Edwin took her as well. When Thessaly exerts her power, it gives the boys time to escape the creatures, but Charles is not so lucky. Unable to wake him, Edwin and the others go over what they know in hopes of finding a way to help him.
When their investigation leads to someone in the area, Melvin decides to take matters into his own hands. Edwin and the others race to stop him, but it might be too late for his target and leaving Charles with Tanya might have some dangerous consequences.
The Story: The mystery is getting deeper and more interesting in this issue. Pornsak Pichetshote offers some great character development as well as great backstory for the characters. I really enjoyed the conflicts in the story and how it is expanding to explain what happened to Thessaly and how she will play a role in the events to come. I also really enjoyed the cliffhanger at the end of the issue and the possibility of what it could mean for Charles and Edwin.
The Art: Stokely crafts some beautiful art in the issue. The character designs are great and I love the visual look of this world.
