The Rundown: Cliff and Betty find themselves in a prison riot to stop a Nazi prison break.
The Rocketeer finds himself face to face with an old enemy being broken out of Alcatraz by the Nazis while Betty and Debbie are confronted by Keppler and her forces. At the same time, Peevy and Debbie’s mother are trapped by advancing Nazi agents. Cliff manages to escape just in time to begin a harrowing chase through the prison fighting off Nazis and escaped prisoners.
On the beach, Debbie calls in some help from the underworld and another battle ensues while Betty and Debbie enter the prison to find and help Cliff. The Rocketeer fights to stop a prison break while the ladies fight to stop a dangerous Keppler from killing the Rocketeer.
The Story: Mooney brings this adventure to a satisfying, exciting and entertaining conclusion. There are fantastic thrills throughout the story as Cliff and the others find themselves in ever increasing danger. I really loved the fast paced thrills of the story and how each character got a great moment that showcases how awesome these characters and this world are. An incredibly, fun, inventive and engaging story filled with awesome action.
The Art: Johnson delivers beautiful art throughout the issue. There are some great visual thrills to match the energy and tone of the story and I found myself immersed in the world being created in this issue.
