The Rundown: Cliff and company find themselves in the middle of a Nazi invasion of San Francisco.
Cliff comes to join the rest of the group and discovers that his exploits the previous day have made it into the papers. Cliff decides that he is going to enjoy his vacation with Betty and put the rocket away while Peevy and the others go check out the recently completed bridge.
While Cliff and Betty enjoy some alone time, a Nazi submarine puts an end to their day and Cliff suits up to help protect the bridge from an attack. Unfortunately, he will discover that he is not the only rocket powered person flying the skies over San Francisco.
The Story: Mooney continues to create the fun and thrills that I love about the Rocketeer and his world. There is a fun energy throughout the story and great moments of both adventure and humor. I love the moments between Cliff and Betty and everything in the story builds to some great action that I found myself immediately immersed in. A thoroughly fun adventure.
The Art: Johnson delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. The visuals are fun and compelling throughout.
