The Rundown: Cliff and company travel to San Francisco as he discovers that someone is using his persona for their own ends.

As Betty and Peevy wait for Cliff to return for a trip the trio have planned, the Rocketeer is taking on gangsters in a dockside warehouse. After bringing down the threat, Cliff arrives in time to join his friends on a trip to San Francisco.

After arriving at the home of a friend and having a well-deserved home cooked meal, Cliff discovers that the persona he’s created is being used by someone else as a familiar threat enters the dark waters around the city.

The Story: As a fan of this world and these characters, Mooney delivers a solid return to the world of the Rocketeer with a fun story that I’m excited to explore. The story has all of the elements that fans of the Rocketeer will enjoy including relationship drama, fun, fights, adventure and a growing Nazi threat encroaching on Cliff’s world. I’m already engaged with this fun adventure and look forward to seeing what surprises await.

The Art: Johnson delivers some fun and entertaining art throughout the issue. The visuals capture the fun of the story while delivering thrilling imagery throughout.
