The Rundown: One of the superpowers reveals a secret while another is plotting against them.

Jacky Magus has decided to start working with the United States in the wake of tensions between the superpowers and the government. After his public reveal, the rest of the superpowers reach out to each other to determine what their collective next steps are and Heavy reveals something to the reporter. Something that can change everything about the balance of power they hold.
As Jacky moves on to the next part of his plans, Etienne and the others plan on how to deal with him. Each side knows that the key to their plans lie with Eliza and Valentina decides to pay her a visit while the reporter reveals something new and dangerous to Etienne.
The Story: Gillen continues to craft a deeply engaging and entertaining story in this issue while creating a unique and compelling world filled with mystery. I was impressed with the pacing of this issue and how it builds on tension from the beginning of the issue to the end. I like the reveals in the issue and how each character is morally grey on multiple levels. I look forward to seeing what happens next.
The Art: Wijngaard creates some beautifully detailed and visually engaging art throughout the issue. I continue to love the use of shadow and how it enhances the emotion of moments.
