The Rundown: The survivors make a discovery while Walter brings Norah closer to the truth.

Arturo picks up the story and discusses his relationship with Walter through Sam. A relationship that has some interesting dynamics that come through in their current situation. While the roommates split up and continue their own projects to either learn more about their surroundings or communicate with the outside world, Norah continues to attempt to communicate with anyone who will listen about who and what Walter really is.

When Arturo’s studio is completed and he gets his first client, their session leads to a revelation that needs to be shared with the group. At the same time, Walter attempts to help Norah understand why he’s done what has to protect the people he calls friends.

The Story: James Tynion IV continues to create a beautifully layered and tension filled story in this issue. I continue to be enraptured by the premise of the series as well as how the story is structured with the opening scenes being the aftermath of horror and the story being the steps on how the characters got there. It’s a mystery that continues to keep me engaged with every issue.

The Art: Alvaro Martinez Bueno blows me away with the visuals in this issue. The style is beautifully complex and gorgeously detailed.
