The Rundown: Collar and Rake take the next step in their plan to help their humans and ultimately, themselves.

Collar and Rake decide to be more active with their human charges after the devils get word of a possible new level being created. After Cam has an uncomfortable run in, Collar gives him an idea that could possibly change his professional life. At the same time, Rake decides to give Starr an idea of her own in order to get her professional life moving forward. In the aftermath, Rake pays a visit to someone that can help her get the ball rolling for her charge.

The devils return to hell and discover that their plan is working and that they have been promoted among the other devils. As they begin to plan for their future, the unique nature of their plans begin to make some strange changes to hell itself. Changes they are eagerly awaiting.

The Story: Soule crafts a sublimely clever and unique story in this issue. I love the world being created in this series and how the characters have interesting personal and internal conflicts. I love how each character has agency and none of them are victims per se. This is an intriguing and thoroughly entertaining story that I look forward to seeing where it goes next.

The Art: Browne crafts some beautifully detailed and visually compelling art throughout the issue.
