The Rundown: Banner and Charlie make their way to the swamps where a new horror awaits.
A new horror has been unleased in the coastal swamps. One that tempts with the manifestation of dead loved ones before taking its victim.
As Banner and Charlie continue to clash about her hanging with Hulk, they make their way to a local restaurant. When banner tries to ditch Charlie, she goes after him only to be tempted by a creeping horror. At the same time, Banner encounters Man-Thing who needs the help of the Hulk.
The Story: I continue to love the horror elements at play in this series. The opening sequence of the issue was fantastic. The horror focused tone of this series continues to be a fantastic idea and this story is filled with great moments that are both somber and scary. What makes the drama more compelling is the war between Hulk and Banner among the external horrors they continue to be hunted by.
The Art: I love the visual style Foreman uses in this issue. There are shades of The Sandman in some of the visuals and they work beautifully with the tone of the story and series.
