Marvel fans have been waiting for this moment since the end credits scene of this summer’s blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War and it’s finally here; the first trailer for Marvel Studios Captain Marvel.
Yesterday, Good Morning America teased that Captain Marvel star Brie Larson would be appearing on the program and they teased it with a photo of the actress in costume as her character Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel. Today, we officially got our first look at the film.
According to the official synopsis from Marvel Studios; “The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L Jackson, Jude Law, Ben Mendelsohn, Gemma Chan, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Annette Bening, Djimon Hounsou and Clark Gregg. It is written and directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck.
Captain Marvel will soar into theaters March 8, 2019.
