The Rundown: The group find themselves fighting a dangerous creature and discover a devastating truth.
After escaping the strange world they encountered looking for Cleo’s lost brother, the kids find themselves back on the beach facing off against a dangerous creature that took Lux’s mother. Standing united against the creature, the kids discover they have a power that unites them and makes them more powerful than they imagined.
In the aftermath, they return to Cleo’s home to look for her family. After finding a way to deal with her loss, she reunites with her parents and discovers something that will change everything about where they really are.
The Story: Thompson offers some fantastic action and thrills throughout the story. I love the action throughout this issue and how the characters come together for each other. There are some great surprises throughout the story and everything culminates in a fantastic cliffhanger that surprised me and makes me excited for the next part of the story.
The Art: De Iulis delivers some amazing art in the issue. I love the visual style of this series and the art is visually breathtaking.
