Marvel Studios next series on Disney Plus is currently in production and they have added a new face to the series.

According to Deadline, actress Vera Farmiga has joined the cast of Marvel Studios ‘Hawkeye’ series. Farmiga will join Jeremy Renner returning as Clint Barton aka Hawkeye along with Hailee Steinfeld playing Kate Bishop. Black Widow star Florence Pugh is also joining the series as Yelena Belova.

It is unclear who Farmiga will play in the series, but there is the possibility that she could either be playing Kate’s missing mother Eleanor Bishop, a rich socialite who was a director of the Masters of Evil and superior of the villain Madame Masque or she could be playing Masque herself.

Vera Farmiga is an Academy Award nominated actor known for her roles in films like Up In The Air and The Conjuring series as well as television series like Bates Motel. Her next role will be reprising the role of Lorraine Warren in the upcoming The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.
