The Rundown: Simon’s search for his missing assistant will uncover some bigger mysteries in the quiet town of Noxton.
Simon barely escapes an unknown assailant at the standing stones and discovers that he will not be getting any help from anyone in town. The next day, he and Honora compare notes and determine that they need to investigate why the town has so many secrets. An investigation that will lead to some interesting revelations.
With a better understanding of what they could be facing, Simon and Honora enter the forest to see the standing stones again. What they find is a dark secret and the return of a familiar face.
The Story: Roberson does a great job of expanding the story and its mystery. The characters are intriguing and engaging. The story has great pacing and tension throughout. The dynamic between Simon and Honora is one of the highlights and keeps me interested in the plot as it progresses.
The Art: Andrea Mutti delivers some great art that beautifully captures the world of this story and the emotion of the setting.
