The Rundown: Cap takes on Baron Blood as the Avengers rush to stop a crashing helicarrier.

With the vampire forces on the run, Captain America continues his battle with Baron Blood after bringing the carrier past the point of darkness and giving his team of Avengers the sunlight to use as a weapon.

As Steve clashes with Blood, the rest of the Avengers let in the light to take on the vampires while protecting the civilians aboard. A battle that will determine if they can save everyone and stop Blood’s plans once and for all.

The Story: As much as I am still on the fence about the Blood Hunt storyline for a lot of reasons, I have to say that this adventure with Steve Rogers and the team he created has been a fun one. The notion of Captain America taking on Nazi vampires was never not going to be interesting and MacKay delivers beautifully. The story is thrilling, lively and incredibly fun from start to finish.

The Art: Villa delivers some awesome art throughout the issue. There is a frenetic energy to the story and the art captures it beautifully with detailed action and characters.
