The Rundown: Mac and the others discover what came on the crashed plane and how hard it is to kill.
Mac and his new partner discover the creature that emerged from the crashed plane and the body of a dead flight attendant. After trying to stop it, they see how hard it is to kill. Even after emptying a gun into it, it escaped. With no idea what they are dealing with and trapped in the middle of a storm, Mac and the others decide to try to keep everyone safe.
When two of the group break off to check on the body, they find it gone and a blood trail leading to the vent system. A trail that shows the creature continuing to change. As things get more dangerous, Mac and the others grab whatever weapons they can find in order to hunt the creature and end its threat once and for all.
The Story: The story gets more exciting, intense and thrilling in this issue. The horror elements are fantastic and I love that the writers decide to showcase the creature early on and show how powerful it is. It’s a great horror story that is set beautifully in a location that is a fantastic environment for the kind of horror being created in this story. I cannot wait to see where this story goes next.
The Art: The artists brilliantly illustrate the horror and terror of the setting as well as craft a creature that is visually thrilling to see.
