The Rundown: Janice is sent to kill Randy and the city erupts in a gang war.
Randy Robertson continues to work with Mayor Cage and others to reinstate superheroes back into the city. Unfortunately, Hammerhead and the other leaders of the crime families have other plans when he tells Janice that the only way she can claim her ailing father’s territory is to take out her former fiancé.
At the same time, Spider-Man has a tense team up with Miles who doesn’t appreciate not getting help when he needed it. When Janice’s mission fails and Randy is gravely injured, she goes after Hammerhead and discovers that someone else has been planning things. Someone who initiates a gang war that could tear the city apart.
The Story: Wells and Ziglar are crafting an interesting and engaging new story arc with this issue. The story has some great twists throughout and some awesome action that teases something big for the characters involved. I really liked this story and how it affects Spider-Man and look forward to seeing what he does to fix things as well as who he enlists to help him.
The Art: Vasquez and Shaw deliver some visually thrilling art throughout the issue. There is a lot of action in the story and the imagery does a great job of bringing that action to life.
