The Rundown: Monica Rambeau decides to play her hand and go after the Beyond Corporation.
Misty, Colleen and Michael Morbius battle against Lizard who has been given Morbius’ condition. Michael decides that the best way to fight the Lizard is to try something unconventional that might overload its systems and stop it once and for all. At the same time, their backup Monica Rambeau arrives at another Beyond facility to find someone. Someone she knows is part of the company’s conspiracy and might hold the key to stopping them.
Monica and her partner proceed to destroy the base and begin her plan to find more of them as Maxine goes into panic mode. At the same time, the Slingers are brought in to take down Ben Reilly as Queen Goblin decides on her future and Michael Morbius enlists a new partner.
The Story: The story is interesting, action packed and entertaining from start to finish. Monica is utilized brilliantly in this story. Her history with the Beyond Corporation is explained nicely for anyone new to the arc and I enjoy her teaming up with Machine Man. The action is great throughout and showcases Monica’s powers and tenacity.
The Art: All of the artists deliver some great visual moments for the characters in the issue. I like the different style and how they are utilized to tell different parts of the bigger story.
