The Rundown: Spider-Man has to a find a way to escape Re-Po and rescue Randy.
Trapped within Re-Po, Spider-Man has to a find a way to escape. In the real world, Re-Po decides to return to his old life. A life that will directly threaten the human hostages he’s holding including Randy Robertson.
Peter teams up with Rek-Rap to find a way to escape. A mission that will take them throughout the creature and hopefully stop him in time before he kills Randy. At the same time, the gang war continues to bubble under the surface and a new player makes his first move.
The Story: A fun and entertaining story from Wells. The lighter tone is great and I love the suspense in the story as Peter looks for an escape as Re-Po gets closer to killing Randy. The gang war storyline is compelling and contains some interesting moments that I want to explore.
The Art: McGuinness delivers some bright, engaging and visually entertaining art throughout the issue. The imagery is fun and filled with great details.
