The Rundown: Peter teams with his Limbo admirer to stop a demonic bounty hunter.
Rek-Rap tells Peter about who he is running from and Peter is not convinced that Re-Po is not doing the right thing bringing demons back to Limbo, Rek-Rap included. Unfortunately, he doesn’t realize that Re-Po is not just taking demons with him.
When Peter returns home and discovers that Re-Po has been there and Randy is missing, he suits up to go after him. Finding where Re-Po has been hiding, Spider-Man discovers too late that the demon hunter has come for him as well.
The Story: Wells crafts an entertaining story in this issue. The Rek-Rap storyline is silly fun with some interesting stakes for the characters and I enjoyed it. The prelude to the upcoming gang war arc is done really well and has some interesting moments that intrigued me. I look forward to seeing what happens next.
The Art: McGuiness delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. The visuals are fun and tap into the fun, lighter tone of the story.
