The Rundown: Spider-Man tries to determine who poisoned him as he continues to hallucinate.

After being poisoned in Rhino’s apartment, Spider-Man goes on a rampage thinking he’s taking down his combined enemies. Unfortunately, Peter can’t seem to remember anything as he wakes up at Rand with his old friend and new boss still having hallucinations of getting in trouble with him as kids.
As things continue to deteriorate, Peter is intercepted by Norman who shows him that he is under some kind of influence. With time running out in his investigation, Spider-Man heads to Ravenloft to get answers from Rhino himself. Answers that will bring him face to face with an old enemy who has targeted Rhino for their own reasons.
The Story: Kelly’s follow up issue is at best okay. There isn’t a lot to grab or hold me as a reader and the jumps between Peter’s hallucinations and the rest of the plot feel muddy and unfocused. It’s not a bad story and has some interesting moments, but Peter Parker having a bad kid phase is not as compelling as I think Kelly wants the audience to believe. Also, the reveal at the end of the issue made me roll my eyes rather than grab my attention.
The Art: Larraz delivers fantastic art in the issue. The characters look great and I love the visual representation of Peter’s hallucinations and how the art incorporates those moments.
