The Rundown: Tombstone needs to reassert his position on the streets and Spider-Man might get in his way for the last time.
Peter gets an unexpected visitor in the form of Norman Osborn who offers the down on his luck Parker a job. At the same time, Tombstone gets a visit from his daughter who he turns away when he reveals that things are about to get dangerous as he tries to win back his reputation on the streets.
In the aftermath of Peter’s day he decides to go after Tombstone’s operation as Spider-Man. After getting information, he finds the mobster and proceeds to try to bring him to justice. Unfortunately, Tombstone decides to prove to Spidey that he is keeping his promise to bring him down.
The Story: Zeb Wells continues to deliver an entertaining and intriguing story with this arc. The surprises make me want to know what happened in the months Peter was missing and the Norman Osborn moment made me more intrigued. I like seeing Peter going after more street level threats and Tombstone is becoming a significant and interesting threat.
The Art: John Romita Jr. delivers some great art throughout the issue. The visuals are thrilling and have wonderful details that draw the eye. A great looking issue.
