The Rundown: Mary Munoz discovers that the world she and her friends escaped has seeped back into reality.

A group of unique heroes were tapped to stop a threat in an alternate universe called The Ledge. Unfortunately, their experiences in that world are something they don’t want to talk about even with each other. Experiences that dwarf their reality.

Mary Marie the Multi-Monster just wants a normal life, but when energy from The Ledge is found in the real world in the form of a designer drug, she might have to return to her old life and friends in order to stop it.

The Story: Oswalt and company are creating an interesting and entertaining world in this issue. I loved the original Minor Threats series and I’m excited to see more of that world explored in this new series. The story is incredibly interesting and filled with interesting characters and interpersonal conflicts. I love the drama of the issue as well as the dark humor. I look forward to the next issue.

The Art: Mitten and Fowler craft some beautiful art in the issue. I love how well the visual styles work together with the dreamlike sequence for Mary and the wonderful visual style of the real world.
