The Rundown: As the Titans and Teen Titans adjust to their new surroundings, they are met by unexpected guests with an unusual request.

In the opener, the newly formed Young Justice Dark discuss their plans and later find themselves in a dangerous predicament. Elsewhere, Gregg and Addison aide in the care of their injured teachers. Later, the adult Titans discuss recent events. Soon, Rick Flagg and his team of Suicide Squad member arrive at the temporary Titan facility. After a revealing confrontation with the Titans, the two groups make a decision that may have lasting consequences.

The Story: This chapter as a starting point for a new plotline in this series. It also acts as a part of the War for Earth-3 crossover event. After the horrific recent events of the last few episodes, the Titans are in emotional turmoil and must determine how best to attend to the young people in their care. This episode does a good job at presenting that struggle while also showing how their students are adapting to the situation. I am intrigued by the many collaborations that have been set into motion including young and mature. It will be interesting to see how this series proceeds from this point.

The Art: The illustration in this chapter uses a modern comic book styling with a realistic color pattern. The drawings are extremely detailed, and there is an emphasis on character form and background scenery that is both engaging and transportive.

TBH I was kind of expecting it. The premise didn’t really feel sustainable as a long running series. I have the same opinion about Strange Academy as well.
