Thor Ragnarok director Taika Waititi is pulling double duty again on one of this projects.
According to Collider, the director will not only direct an episode of the Star Wars spinoff series The Mandalorian, written and produced by Iron Man director Jon Favreau, but will also voice one of the characters on the series.
Waititi will not be voicing just any character, he will be taking on the voice role of bounty hunter IG-88 for the series. IG-88 is an assassin droid who works as a bounty hunter. He was first introduced in The Empire Strikes Back as one of several bounty hunters, including Boba Fett, hired to track down the Millennium Falcon.
Waititi is no stranger to this type of role having played the character of Korg in the hit film Thor Ragnarok, which he directed.
