The Rundown: Superman goes after Pharm and Graft as they find their next target.
In the wake of his fight with the Chained, Superman is healing at Supercorp with Lois at his side while Lex deals with the fallout of his mother and daughter being in Metropolis. After getting some of his strength back, Clark decides to go after Pharm and Graft when he discovers their next target is Marilyn Moonlight.
When Moonlight is targeted by Graft, Superman intervenes and the ensuing battle will not only reveal Marilyn’s connection to the villains, but also send Superman on a journey of danger and discovery.
The Story: Wlliamson crafts a solid, entertaining story that takes some interesting turns while ending on a great twist. There are some great seeds being planted for new arcs for the character while making this arc interesting for both the reader and the world of Superman. I really enjoyed the end of this issue and what readers will learn about Metropolis and its history.
The Art: Redondo delivers some exceptional art in the issue. I really love the visual style and the character designs a lot. There are some great visual thrills in the issue, but the moments between Clark and Lois stand out because of their stunning composition.
