The Rundown: Superman is stuck in the past and must find a way back home.
In the present, Lois teams with Lex, Lena and Mercy to look for a way to find and retrieve Superman from the past he’s been transported to. Unfortunately, bringing him back could be a problem with Pharm and Graft using kryptonite to enhance Clark’s enemies.
In the past, Superman continues to regain his strength and work with Marilyn Moonlight to solve a series of murders. After discovering the killer and his connection to time travel, the pair find that they might have a solution to their mutual problem.
The Story: Williamson continues to craft an entertaining story in this issue. There is a great level of tension throughout the story as Superman deals with his injuries and the forces in the present fight to both find him and help him in the upcoming fight. I really enjoyed the western setting of the issue and how the story allows Clark to learn more about Marilyn Moonlight. I look forward to seeing where this story goes next because of its dramatic and engaging cliffhanger.
The Art: Redondo and Filipe deliver fantastic art throughout the issue. I love how the visual styles complement each other in both character design and action.
