The Rundown: With the threat of Rogol Zaar seemingly at an end, Kara must decide what to do next.
The House of El and the House of Zod fought hard to stop the threat of Rogol Zaar and as they find themselves in the custody of the Thanagarians, Kara is wondering if the negative influence of Zaar’s axe still has power over her.
As Superman and Jon both plead for a new understanding between the warring factions growing in the wake of Gandelo’s death, Kara must decide what her future will be now that she isn’t on her mission anymore and the intervention of the Legion of Superheroes adds a new wrinkle to their increasingly complicated lives.
The Story: This is a satisfactory and light conclusion for Kara’s part of the Unity Saga. After taking the lead on the space based investigation into the destruction of Krypton, it is satisfying to see the character take the time to step back and reassess both her mission and her life. It will be interesting to see where her story goes next as she returns to Earth.
The Art: Kevin Maguire delivers some beautiful art in this issue. Everything from the characters to the backgrounds look stunning.
