The Rundown: Peacemaker has an unusual encounter, The Suicide Squad go on a deadly mission, and Waller’s current motives become clear.

The Story opens with an altercation between Peacemaker’s squad and Swamp Thing. Afterwards, Swamp Thing offers Peacemaker an interesting choice. Later, Peacemaker finds himself in an awkward position.

Elsewhere, Waller is in hiding after the events of the previous issue. After diagnosing a captured Talon, she announces her plans for him. Then, Dr. Rodriguez makes a surprising move.

Meanwhile, in Hell, the Suicide Squad fights against Mind Warp and the Hell Squad. An epic battle takes place allowing Ambush Bug to enter a temple under Waller’s direction. Soon, Talon joins his teammates, and the group complete their mission. Later, Waller reveals her ultimate plans.

The Story: Thompson has crafted a funny and action packed story filled with intrigue. His use of Ambush Bug as narrator had laughing audibly. This was a great way to give out a lot of content in a way that is both engaging and understandable. The plot twists were numerous. Especially those surrounding Waller. But, I am most intrigued by Ambush Bug. He has quickly become my favorite character in the series and I am excited to know more about his character and motivations.

The Art: This visually appealing issue is intense and engaging. The fight scenes are spectacular and the attention to detail really draws you into the story.
