The Duffer Brothers have another opportunity to take us back to the “Upside Down”.
In a move that would be considered a “no brainer” by anyone inside or outside of the entertainment industry, Netflix has officially renewed the mega hit series Stranger Things for a third season on the streaming service.
The series, which stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard and Millie Bobby Brown among others has grown from a sleeper hit in its first season to a worldwide phenomenon garnering the series multiple Emmy and Golden Globe awards nominations. Stranger Things follows a group of residents of the fictional Indiana town of Hawkins where a secret government facility has opened a doorway to another dimension in the early 1980’s.
There is currently no release date for the third season of the series, but that will be another mystery that fans of Stranger Things will want to solve as well.
