The Rundown: Clea confronts the Harvestman and learns the truth about Stephen Strange.
Clea is both angry and determined. She has learned the truth about the Harvestman and is racing to confront him. At the same time, the Harvestman is taking on a zombie version of Goliath. A fight that is interrupted by Clea who wants to know why the Harvestman has hidden his identity as Stephen Strange.
After discovering the truth, Clea commits to free her late husband from service to Death. As the two prepare their next move, the Blasphemy Cartel prepares for a move of their own. One that will directly threaten the plans of the Sorcerer Supreme.
The Story: MacKay continues to deliver great action, spectacle and character throughout this series and it starts off strong with a determined Clea who will not be denied or deterred. I love the interactions between her and Strange and how MacKay frames the dialogue to make you feel a part of the moment. I continue to be invested in the mystery of the Cartel as well as its leader and I cannot wait to see where this story goes next.
The Art: Ferreira delivers some powerfully energetic and detailed throughout the issue. The visuals are stunning and I love both the action and the emotion displayed in the pages.
