On October 22, 2016 the comic book world lost a prolific artist. Steve Dillon was born in Luton Bedforshire UK in 1962. He got his start at age 16 drawing for Marvel UK.

He partnered with writer Garth Ennis to work on Hellblazer and they eventually began work on the series Preacher.

He drew several issues of Judge Dredd, Animal Man for DC and up to his death at the age of 54, he was drawing for Thunderbolts and Punisher for Marvel. His eye and his talent will be sorely missed.
