The Rundown: Virgil and his friends fight to save his fellow bang babies, but they might have unleashed something even more dangerous.
Virgil and his friends have infiltrated the secret government black site that has been holding the captured bang babies and run into another problem. After freeing them all, Static learns that a group of them have been paid by the government to stop him and capture more. As Static fights to give the others a chance to escape, the agent who has been keeping them all locked up decides to give Virgil some advice.
In the aftermath of his fight, Static decides to unleash the full force of his powers to give everyone the chance to escape. A move that will not only give Static and his friends a new purpose in rescuing and protecting the other bang babies, but also unleash something dangerous that decides to pay a visit to the man who held him.
The Story: Ayala wraps up this part of the story with great action and some great character growth for Virgil. The story has a great pace and some intense moments that showcase what an interesting and worthwhile character Static is. The fact that the story also showcases how he works with others and how smart he is. Something that fleshes out the character and makes him more engaging.
The Art: Draper-Ivey delivers some fantastic art in this issue. I continue to be blown away by the art style in this series and this issue particularly. There are some awesome visual moments to be found.
