The Rundown: While conflict rages in the streets of Jedha, Vildar tries to save lives.
War has broken out on the streets of Jedha and the warring factions have already caused massive damage. Jedi’s Zeveron and Loobon find themselves too late to save the massive Jedi statue in the desert outside the city as Tey fights to protect the Guardians of the Whills as thieves raid the temple for a specific artifact.
At the same time, Matty tries to summon the force to help Vildar and the others trapped beneath the rubble of a collapsed building while Vildar struggles to keep everyone alive, including the ones who hate the Jedi.
The Story: A thrilling story from Scott filled with great tension and characters. The action is fantastic and I continue to enjoy the world building of this series. The conflict between the factions continues to be interesting and how that conflict is effecting the force makes me intrigued with how the story will progress and what turns it will take next.
The Art: Anindito delivers beautiful art throughout the issue. The visuals are bright, compelling and visually the emotion of moments perfectly.
