Deron GenerallyOne of the more interesting moments in Star Wars Return of the Jedi (and one that has recently gotten a lot of scrutiny) is Luke’s plan to free Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt. Now a new short seeks to fill in some of the blanks in that movie.
In Return of the Jedi, Luke sends droids C-3PO and R2-D2 to Jabba to bargain for Han Solo’s life. When that fails, Leia enters the palace (dressed as bounty hunter Boushh) in an attempt to free Han from his Carbonite prison. The new short from Star Wars: Forces of Destiny shows how Leia and Chewie run into the bounty hunter on Ord Mantell and how they get help from a new face in the Star Wars universe Maz Kantana (Lupita Nyong’o).

Seeking help to free Han from Jabba, Leia, Chewbacca, and R2-D2 travel to Ord Mantell to meet with Han’s old friend Maz Kanata. Maz lures bounty hunter Boushh into a firefight so Leia can obtain his helmet and armor for a perfect disguise.
